Who We Are
The Delmarva Cougar Club, founded in 1998, is dedicated to the appreciation and preservation of the 1967 to 1973 Mercury Cougar and represents owners and enthusiasts in Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia. We also welcome Cougar fans from outside this region and those with later model year cars.

Longtime Love Affair with Mercury’s Shelby
Former DCC President Phillip Payne has owned five Cougars, including his first car in 1976, and calls the XR7-G his “ideal” Cat for its connection to Shelby Automotive (automotive history and racing lore are among his other passions). So, it’s no surprise his current ride is this beautiful and highly optioned Polar White G.
